Job description
We are seeking a top-notch financial accountant to join our team at a leading retail company in Egypt. The financial accountant will be responsible for reviewing daily retail sales closure reports, including bills, invoices, vouchers, redemptions, credit notes, refunds, and various types of payments. They will ensure accurate and complete closure of daily receivable transactions across retail stores, including prepaid, Vodafone and CIB points, vouchers and premium cards, Jumia and Souq, and more
The financial accountant will communicate and follow up with store managers, seniors, and cashiers to finalize pending or inaccurate records. They will verify that all receivable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures and implement, review, and ensure bank deposits to corporate accounts, customer refunds, and more. They will also constantly reconcile and update AR records on the general ledger and collect, compile, and analyze data to provide monthly and periodic reports for AR balance
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of accounting principles and techniques and retail business operations. They should have good organization, follow-up, and time management skills and hold a bachelor's degree in accounting with no more than 1-2 years of experience

The salary
