Parma glories of the nineties
Parma Club was founded in 1913 and participated in almost all the various levels of the Italian League, and in the nineties in particular, Parma had a date with glory.
It was Parma's date to write history and a period that will not be erased in the memory of its fans, lovers, and fans of the Italian League in general and football in general.
Parma's golden period
In 91-92, Parma had its first title
* Champion of the Italian Cup at the expense of Juventus “The Old Lady”
The first leg of the final 1-0 to Juventus with a goal from Roberto Baggio, and the second leg of the final 2-0 to Parma with goals from Melli and Osio.
Parma won the first titles in its history, proving that the nineties era was the best stage in the history of the ancient club.
* Champion of the European Cup Winners’ Cup 92-93 at the expense of Antwerp, Belgium
With a score of 3-1, goals by Menotti, Melli and Koch for Parma and Severance for Antwerp of Belgium.
Parma wins the first continental title in its history
* European Super Cup 93 at the expense of AC Milan
After the defeat at the Tardini Stadium 1-0 with a goal from Papin and the victory in Sansero 2-0 with goals from Sensini, Crippa
- Runner-up in the European Cup Winners’ Cup 93-94 after being defeated in the final by Arsenal, England, 1-0, with a goal by Smith.
* Champion of the European Uefa Cup 94-95 at the expense of Juventus “The Old Lady”
The first leg 1-0 for Parma, with a goal by Dino Baggio at the Tardini Stadium, and the return match 1-1 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with goals from Villali for Juventus and Dino Baggio for Parma.
- Italian Cup runner-up after defeat by Juventus in the first leg, with a score of 1-0, with a Borini goal at the Stadio delle Alpi, and a score of 2-0, with goals from Borini, Ravanelli, at the Tardini Stadium.
- Runner-up in the Italian League 96-97, two points ahead of the league champion at the time, Juventus, “the old lady.”
* Champion of the European Uefa Cup 98-99 at the expense of French Marseille
After winning the final 3-0 with goals from Crespo, Fanoli, and Chiesa
* Italian Cup champion 98-99 at the expense of Fiorentina “The Viola”
1-1 in the first leg with goals from Hernan Crespo and Gabriel Omar Batistuta at the Tardini Stadium, and 2-2 back with goals from Crespo, Fanoli for Parma and Rybka, Quiz for the Viola at the Frankie Stadium.
* Italian Super Cup 99 at the expense of AC Milan “The Rossoneri”
With a score of 2-1, with goals from Crespo and Bogosyan for Parma and Joli for Milan
