1- The Great Temple of Amunra

2- Temple of Amun

 

It is a spacious courtyard lined with papyrus-shaped columns on both sides. (In the past, in the middle there was the "Taharqagosq", which was built by the king of the 25th dynasty "Taharqa", composed of 10 graceful pillars, and 1 of the pillars still stands in its place.))

 

In the northwest corner of this courtyard there are also 19 compartments prepared to house the sacred ships of the Teban Triad, built by the 1st Seti of the 3 dynasties. The walls of these compartments were decorated with reliefs representing sacred ships.

3- Temple of "Ramses 3" in Karnak

 

It was built by Ramses 3rd to house the sacred ship, and this temple is considered a model of a complete Egyptian temple. It starts with a large building decorated outside by 2 magnificent statues of the king. From the inside, it is followed by an open courtyard, adjacent to the east and west to the gates (multiple weeping). The king appears on the pillar in the form of Osiris.

On the walls are decorated with inscriptions representing the king in different positions before the "God Amun"."Then we have a vestibule with 2 rows of rows. The first of these columns consists of columns in which the statue of "Osyrian" is attached in the style of a courtyard statue, and the 2nd column consists of 4 columns in the shape of a plant. Papyrus This vestibule leads us to the hypostyle hall, which leads to 3 rooms to house the sacred ship of theban Triad. Next to it are several dark rooms, which were used for worship purposes.

It was decorated with 2 large statues standing in front of this building of Ramses 2. Only the statue on the right remains, and next to the building there is a hall of pillars, which reveals the image of the refined grandeur that the art of architecture reached in the country of Egypt. It is like a forest of pillars representing the papyrus plant, covering an area of land spanning 6000 square meters. It contains 134 columns, each of which is 3.37 meters in diameter, the height of the side column is 13 meters, the height of the central column is about 21 meters, and the columns are all in the form of papyrus stems. This hall was covered with huge stone blocks. Some of them are still installed. As for the inscriptions on these pillars and the walls behind them, they are very magnificent and beautiful. Some of its colors are still bright, and it represents King Sethi and his son, Ramses 2, making sacrifices to different gods. About the scene carved on the walls of this lobby from the outside can be reached by getting out of one of the side doors - they are pictures representing both King Sethi and his son Ramses II in various wars with the enemies of Egypt, the Hittites and the Libyans.

4- Temple of Consu

 

   It was built in 1198 BC by Ramses 20, the 2nd king of the 3rd dynasty. Then his son Ramses 4 added to it after him, and Ramses M.The last king of the 20 dynasties. The temple consists of a building carved by the priest "Bi Najm", who is considered the 21st king of the 8th dynasty. Following it is a courtyard with columns in the shape of papyrus, the capital of which also has the shape of a flower bud of papyrus. This is followed by a vestibule with 12 columns leading to the hypostyle hall, on its walls are displayed inscriptions from the time of "Ramses XI", the 20th king of the 10th dynasty, and his patron, "Herihor". Finally, we reach the sacred boat cabin of Khonsu and the dark niches around it. As a whole, it consists of "Mihrab", or "the Most Holy Place", and contains inscriptions and scenes from the era of "Ramses 4th". Behind the "Mihrab" is a small courtyard with 4 pillars, connected to which are 7 small rooms of the era of "Ramses III" and "IV". Each.
